The turning point
The first-quarter Garner second touchdown. With the 49ers down 7-2 and the defensive front facing third-and-three at the 49ers' 4, Garner broke through the right tackle for the score. The 14-2 cushion put the visitors in script-the-clock posture from the first quarter forward.
